Student Quality: Rising Higher

At the heart of a great university lies a talented student body. Enhancing the quality of SMU begins with recruiting and retaining the very best students – those who benefit from and enrich the SMU experience and stimulate an environment of academic achievement. Our recent growth in student quality has resulted from a strategic investment in student scholarships and support.

With the help of our alumni and friends, student applications have grown dramatically, admission has become increasingly selective and entering student test scores are significantly higher. We must increase these investments to become even more attractive to high-achieving students.
