The eDPR is an electronic Degree
Progress Report (eDPR) that can be requested by students or advisors/faculty
using Access.SMU. The DPR itself will not appear in Access.SMU. It will be
e-mailed to the person requesting it at his/her campus e-mail account.
The
following instructions explain how an advisor/faculty member may request a
student’s DPR through Self Service.
Processing an eDPR
A. Faculty
After logging into Access.SMU, look for the Faculty Self-Service pagelet. Click on the Faculty Center link:

B. Advisor or Faculty
Navigate to the following page: Self Service, Advisement, New/Drop-In Advisees
Requesting the Report
Click on the Search button to select a student.

Enter the SMU ID of the student for whom you are requesting the report. |

Click on the Lookup button. |

Select the student. |
This brings you back to the New/Drop-In Advisees page, now displaying the student's name.

Click on Go to process the request. |
After clicking on Go, you will see “Processing” blinking on the upper right side
of the screen. When the processing is complete, you will see the following
screen:

Note: If this screen does not appear, the Degree Progress Report
has not been sent to your SMU email account. The process must be repeated to
obtain an eDPR.
You cannot run a degree progress report for students who are not in an active status due to graduation, suspension, etc. You may still run an unofficial
transcript. If you try to run a degree progress report, you will receive the
following message:
