Students must file an Application for Candidacy to Graduate with their schools of record before their diplomas will be issued and before they can participate in the ceremony.

Students will be assessed a $40 Apply to Graduate fee approximately six weeks prior to the graduation date. Students will be notified when the fee is added to their miscellaneous student account. Students may pay online by MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or check. They may also pay in person by cash or check at the Registrar’s Office in the Blanton Building. Fees not paid by the due date will result in a hold placed on the student’s account.
For questions regarding your degree program and graduation status, contact the office of your Academic Dean.
If you have not informed your Academic Dean that you will participate in the commencement ceremonies, you must do so, by Friday, February 8.
