TRANSFER CREDIT POLICIES

The
following transfer equivalency information has been compiled by SMU
Enrollment Services to assist prospective transfer students in planning
programs of study compatible with the general degree requirements of SMU.
Careful review of this information should facilitate transfer to the University
and minimize the likelihood of loss of credits in the process. This
equivalency list is based on the 2006-07 undergraduate academic catalogs
for both SMU and the external college/university.

Only 2006-07 transferable courses are listed. If a course is not listed, it simply means it is not transferable. To be transferable, a course must be comparable in content and level to an existing SMU course. Courses listed will be counted as transferable credit hours and used to calculate transferable Grade Point Average. Students may apply for Academic Forgiveness for coursework completed 10 or more years prior to entry term at SMU. |
