What are the Junior Mustang Cheerleaders?
The Junior Mustang Cheerleading Squad allows children between the ages of 5 and 10 to cheer on the sidelines of Ford Stadium during the 1st and 2nd quarters of all SMU home games! Join in and help us cheer on the Mustangs!
What is the cost to be a Junior Mustang Cheerleader?
The total cost for the Junior Mustang Cheerleading Squad FOR 2008 is $325. This includes:
• Official Junior Mustang Cheerleader Uniform
• a Pair of Pom-Poms
• 3 Practices with Professional Coaching
• a Season Ticket Package
• Cheering (1st & 2nd qtr.) on the sidelines for all SMU Home Football Games
• the Opportunity to perform at Half-Time of an SMU Basketball Game
• the Opportunity to March in the SMU Homecoming Parade
Where will the Junior Mustangs be cheering?
The Mini Mustangs will cheer to the Family Section of Ford stadium. Special season ticket packages are available for Family and Friends in this section for $72.00 per person.
How do I register for the Junior Mustang Cheerleaders?
Fill out the registration form below, and mail it with an enclosed check to SMU Spirit, 6000 Airline Dr. - Dedman Center, Dallas, TX 75275-0161. Please make checks payable to: SMU AthleticDepartment. NOTE: There is a maximum number we can take on the squad. You will be contacted shortly after the registration form is received to discuss the release forms, uniform fitting, and practice schedule.
