Hilltop Sports Camp
Activities - Aquatics
Children will have the opportunity to participate in group and individual swimming lessons at least two days out of the week. They will also participate in pool games and activities such as:

  Obstacle courses using fun noodles and other pool toys.
• Relay races
• Water basketball and volleyball
• Water horseshoes
• Inner tube water sports
• Free swim

Activities - Daily Special
Our daily special program is a way to introduce new skills or information appropriate and beneficial for children ages 6-12. Topics will include basic first aid training, nutrition and basic cooking instruction, baby-sitters training, and more sports and recreational games!

• Basic First Aid (BAT) for children
• Highland Park Black Belt Academy demonstrations
• Supervised sports activities
• Team challenges

Activities - Fitness
Your children will participate in the following fun and exciting fitness activities at Hilltop Sports Camp:

• Bootcamp - Kids Cadet Corps
• Karate
• Team Races
• Baton Twirling (including a Friday "Twirling Recital")
• Gravity Training (including a Friday "Strength Show")
• Self Defense for Younger Children
• Self Defense for Older Children
• Hula Hoop Contest


Activities - Outdoor
Climbing Wall
These sessions will focus on introducing the sport of indoor climbing by focusing on fundamental skill acquisition, movement technique, safety, and of course, fun.

• 2600 ft2 of climbing space including bouldering wall.
• All levels of climbing from first time to gym-rat.
• Boost self-esteem and self confidence while enhancing problem-solving skills.
• Seek to challenge campers to excel.
• Specially trained staff.


Games
Campers will participate in fun and challenging games and initiatives to build social connections, develop trust, and work together to solve problems.
Activities - Intramurals
Come take part in activities in the state of the art recreation facility. Take advantage of the unique opportunities to learn fundamentals of traditional sports while also learning new and unique games.
  • Beach Ball Baseball (baseball in a racquetball court with a beach ball.)
  • Speedball (a combination of soccer and European Handball)

  • Kickball (just like the good ol’ playground days)

  • Prison Dodge Ball (imagine a never ending dodge ball game where you are never really “out”)

  • Hawaiian Football (touch football but no lining up and calling plays, similar to ultimate frisbee)

  • Disc Golf (throw the discs at target and try to make a hole in one)

  • Field Hockey (using padded foam sticks)

  • Capture the Flag (divide and conquer)

  • Basketball

  • Racquetball

  • Volleyball
This is the time that all of the campers will look forward to each day.
