Monday-Friday: 3:00 - 8:00 PM

Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Sunday: 1:00 - 6:00 PM

 

HUECO BOULDERING WALL
Open and Free during Dedman Center operational hours.
Please NOTE: Bouldering can be dangerous.  To minimize potential injury or worse and maintain access to the bouldering wall, climbers are to adhere to posted rules and regulations and follow spotting/pad placement guidelines posted at the bulletin boards.
  • When Climbing Center staff are not on duty, bouldering is at your own risk.

  • Climbers under the age of 18 may NOT access the bouldering wall without Climbing Center Staff on duty.

The ACC allows climbers to access roped-climbing on the Taos Tower for FREE up to one year and no waiting on staff to belay. Earn an ACC by successfully passing the Belay Test.

Ten Punch Equipment Pass (Expires after 1 Year) $20/Person

Basics Class $10/Person
Techniques Class (ACC Required) $25/Person

Private Lesson (1 1/2 hour session) $65/Session

Facilitated Climbs: Must be staff supervised (2 weeks advance notice)
Basic Rappelling $10/Person
SMU Groups $100/Session (minimum 2 hours) up to 15 people. Add $10/hour from 16-25.
At this time, we are unable to rent the climbing facilities to groups that involve minors.
Private groups not affiliated with SMU must have liability insurance or purchase a TULIP through Risk Management Department.  Please contact the SMU OA to discuss prices and availability.
