the smu dean's scholars program
The program offers several planned Dean’s Scholars’ receptions, and opportunities to attend conferences on campus, all of which are paid for by the Dean’s Scholarship. As a Dean's Scholar, students have the opportunity to attend tuition-paid classes at the exemplary SMU-in-Taos campus in the summer. Scholars also have access to the Willis M. Tate Lecture Series, which hosts renowned authors, historians, politicians, and legendary newsmen. In addition, each scholar has a faculty mentor with whom they go for academic advising.
