Tips on taking care of your card:

Holes, stickers, tape and other alterations will render your card useless.
Keep your I.D. in your wallet like you would keep your drivers license or a credit card.
Magnets and electronic equipment can erase the encoding on the mag stripe.

WHAT IF MY PONY CARD IS LOST OR STOLEN?
A student must promptly notify the PONY EXPRESS OFFICE if an SMU ID card is lost or stolen.  The ID card will be canceled immediately.  A new ID card may be obtained through the PONY EXPRESS OFFICE.  A $25 fee will be charged for each replacement card.

HOW DO I ADD FUNDS TO MY EXPRESS CA$H  ACCOUNT?
Additional amounts may be purchased at the PONY EXPRESS OFFICE throughout the term.  Funds will be carried over from term to term until a student graduates.  Any credit remaining on the EXPRESS CA$H  ACCOUNT at the point of graduation will be refunded to the student after all debt to the University has been paid. Please be sure to visit our deposit page that contains many different ways to deposit money into your EXPRESS CA$H account.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY EXPRESS CA$H ACCOUNT?
Your EXPRESS CA$H ACCOUNT may be canceled on or before the payment due date.  After this time, accounts may not be canceled unless a student graduates or withdraws from school.  A $25 processing  fee will be deducted from credit balance refunds of withdrawing students. Graduating students do not have to pay this fee. DOES MY EXPRESS CA$H ACCOUNT SATISFY THE MANDATORY MEAL PLAN REQUIREMENT?
No, your EXPRESS CA$H ACCOUNT does not satisfy the mandatory meal plan requirement for all resident students. For further information on meal plans, please visit the dining website
