What's new about my permit?

The new repositionable permits are arriving here!  Where the 2008-2009 parking permits must be applied:

  • Adhere inside the front windshield on the passenger side - no exceptions!

Why does my employee permit have an "E" if I'm assigned to another lot?  All employee permits have an "E" for employee.  Students have an "S" for student and Residents have "R."

"E" = Employee                                    "S" = Student                                    "R" = Resident

Why the new placement?  Consistency will improve visibility and reduce the likelihood of null citations.

What does "repositionable" mean? This means that one permit may be used for multiple vehicles.  The permit clings to the inside of the front windshield and is removable and re-applicable on your alternate vehicle.

Do I have to provide license plate numbers this year?  YES...SMU will once again require that you provide vehicle information for all vehicles you intend to adhere your permit to and bring onto campus.  Park 'N Pony will need vehicle make(s), model(s) and state license plate number(s).
