Habitual / Chronic Violator Status

Habitual Violator Information

Students or Faculty/Staff who receive in excess of six (6) citations in the same academic year are designated "Habitual Violators."  Habitual violators are subject to have their vehicle immobilized each additional time they violate parking policy.  Habitual violators remain on the University's habitual violator list for the current full academic year.  Their record will reset anew once the new academic year commences.

Chronic Violator Information

Students or Faculty/Staff who are in excess of 10 citations are designated "Chronic Violators" and subject to further penalty.  Each citation received there after will double in fees.  Example: a $25.00 violation becomes a $50.00 fine (total) for every citation on the 10th.  Chronic violators remain on the University's habitual violator list for up to one academic year.  Their record will reset anew once the new academic year commences. Those who consistently continue to violate policy are subject to have their parking privileges removed.  Each time the car is found on campus, it will be removed and impounded off campus.
