February 23, 2006 SMU PROFESSOR NOMINATED SMU sociology professor Anthony Cortese has been nominated for the Grawemeyer Award in Education for his book, Opposing Hate Speech. The Grawemeyer Awards are one of the world’s most prestigious and well-funded awards given each year for outstanding ideas in music, psychology, education, political science and religion.
