SMU's Celebration of Lights on December 2 kicked off the holiday season with singing, reading of the Christmas Story and lighting the Main Quad with 100,000 lights.

SMU's annual Celebration of Lights kicked off the holiday season with the lighting of the campus Christmas tree and Main Quad with more than 100,000 lights. It also included singing holiday songs, live performances and the reading of the Christmas Story by SMU President R. Gerald Turner
Sponsored by the SMU Student Foundation, this year's observance was held on December 2.
