Resources: The Division of Theatre offers numerous extracurricular opportunities
for education and enrichment. In addition to our season, students take advantage
of student projects and opportunities for leadership in the department.
Student Advisory Board
This group is made up of elected representatives of each
class who advise and consult with the Chair of the Division of Theatre.
SMUST
SMUST (SMU Student Theatre) is a student organization that
sponsors and supports student-generated projects in an 84-seat
black box theatre.
It is run by a board of students with the guidance of a faculty
advisor. SMUST supports student performances ranging from naturalistic
to
experimental plays and solo works to play festivals.
