Alumni: The Division of Music has a decades-long legacy of producing artists and scholars who go on to successful careers and positions of artistic and administrative leadership in the professional community around the world. Graduates of the Division of Music hold chairs in major orchestras including Houston, Chicago and Philadelphia, as well as performing groups internationally. Others, including several operatic artists, are pursuing successful performance careers across the United States and around the world. A number have won awards in major international competitions. Alumni also hold faculty and administrative positions at Vanderbilt, Westminster Choir College, the University of North Carolina and numerous other arts organizations and schools throughout the world.
