Community Education

Community EducationLooking to learn how to draw or paint and don't know where to begin? Need to update your computer skills? Searching for the perfect class for your creative child to hone his or her acting talent? You've come to the right place—whether you want to learn a new skill or just sharpen up one you already have.

Meadows Community Education offers a wide spectrum of non-credit arts courses for adults and children. We're dedicated to providing leadership and educational resources to the general public, educators, volunteer leaders and professional artists. Taught mostly by SMU and Meadows faculty, staff and alumni, our classes offer an SMU-quality education with convenient evening and weekend class times and affordable tuition rates. Our classes are small in size—so that you can receive the personal attention you deserve.

By bringing the arts into the community, our goal is to provide cultural and educational opportunities that enrich people's lives. Come join us and be a part of our vibrant artistic community!
