ResoucesResources: We know it's difficult choosing a college and that you can feel a little bit overwhelmed, but there are many resources available to help you in this daunting task. We have compiled a few resources that you might find helpful in researching the perfect school for you.

National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) hosts college fairs and seminars around the country. This site also contains valuable information for a college search. Visit this site to find a college fair in your area and meet a Meadows representative!

A must stop site for your college resource needs, College Board Online is a great resource for school information, financial aid information, and tons of topics ranging from essay help to guides for parents.

College PowerPrep is an excellent source for students preparing for tests such as the SAT and ACT. This comprehensive site contains valuable study software, testing locations and information.

The CollegeNet is a good source for college searches and information.

The US Department of Education is a great source for funding, student loan, and grant information. Helpful tips relating to your college search are also provided.

FAFSA on the Web provides online forms, information and guidelines for Federal Student Aid. This site is a must-see if you plan on receiving any financial assistance from the US government. SMU's school code is 003613.

The CSS/Profile financial aid application provided from the College Scholarship Service of the College Board. SMU uses the information collected on profile to help award institutional need-based funds. December 15 is the deadline for early action admission applicants. The deadline for priority consideration of all applicants is January 30. The CSS/Profile can be completed online or printed from a downloadable version. List SMU as a school on the application, and include SMU's code 6660.
