SPRING
2005 FINITE ELEMENT RODEO
MARCH 4-5, 2005
TIME
AND PLACE: The Rodeo will begin at 1:30 PM on Friday
(1:00 Registration),
March 4 and will be held on the campus of
Southern Methodist University Map
The conference will be held in the Blanton student services building, room 110
(building 45 on the map). This is within walking distance of the hotel.
FRIDAY EVENING: Dinner
on Friday evening will be at 6:30 PM. Dinner for participants is
included in their
registration fee. Dinner tickets for spouse/guests are $25 (in
advance) or $30 (paid at the registration desk Friday morning).
No one may attend the dinner who has not notified Rachel Evans by
February 28.
MEETING FORMAT: Time
permitting each talk will be 20 minutes (including questions) in
duration. The order
of the talks will be determined at the beginning of the meeting.
REGISTRATION: The
registration for the meeting will be $35 with a reduced registration of
$15 for students. For those registering after Monday, February
28, the registration fee will be $40 ($20 for students). One
breakfast and lunch (Saturday), a dinner on Friday evening and refreshments during the meeting
are included in the registration. Those intending to
attend the rodeo but who will register at the conference must notify
Rachel Evans in advance if they plan on attending the conference dinner
Friday night. Checks must be made out to SMU and reference the Finite Element
Rodeo on the check in the `FOR' section. They should be sent along with
your name, affiliation, email address and names of
guests (for the Friday dinner) to Rachel Evans
