Event: Gang Intervention and Community Outreach (GICOP)

  • Description: GICOP runs a highly innovative after school program that combines a championship level basketball program, a “no-pass-no-play” educational philosophy, and a cadre of volunteer tutors to help participating children achieve and maintain requisite academic standards.
  • Date: Monday-Thursday (During school year)

Event: Second Saturday Shoreline spruce-up – For the Love of the Lake

  • Description: The objective is to clean and pick up litter at White Rock Lake

Event: Hope For Children Foundation

  • Activities:  Office work,  contact corporations on behalf of the organization via telephone, fax, email, or mail, work on grant requests and large mail projects. Also  build web site for organization with special access to Video educational training trapes

  • Description: Beautification/clean up projects for the yards of residential group homes for adults with developmental disabilities, Work Outdoors

·        Description: To serve clients in Food Pantry; help restock pantries, work indoors, client contact

  • Description: Volunteers are needed to staff the crisis line around the clock. Extensive training is provided.
