HTSC is more than just a place to hang out and meet friends, it also offers various services designed to make the lives of students, faculty and staff easier.
Park N' Pony
The newest addition to the Student Center, this office is located on the main floor of HTSC behind the Mane Desk. It combines Parking and Identification Services. Students, faculty and staff can add Express Cash on their identification cards here, as well as, purchase a DART transit pass, replace a lost or stolen card and cash checks. You can also purchase parking decals and pay for parking citations in this office. Click here for more information on this office.
Mirror Images
Images has opened a satellite office in the Student Center, next to the Mane Desk on the main level. Mirror Images Copy Center is the cheapest place in town for almost every copy need! They may be contacted at 214-768-3047 or via email at mirrorimages@smu.edu.
Copy Machine
This machine takes cash and pony express. It is located on the west bridge entrance in the Post Office.
Computer Corner
"For All Your Computing Needs" - located next to Hegi Family Career Development Center on the Main Level.
ATM
Bank of America provides an ATM in the west lobby, also in front of Java City.
Telephones
HTSC offers free telephones throughout the building. You can find one outside the Mane Desk, on the west bridge, in the Commuter Lounge, on the lower level inside the Prefunction and on the third level by the vending machines. These are courtesy phones and are limited to 3 minute phone calls. For longer calls, students can use the pay phones located in the west lobby.
Post Office
Also located in the west side of the building, the SMU Post Office services all administrative and education segments of the University, as well as, over 3,000 student post office boxes. The postal station is a full functioning post office which also offers Federal Express and UPS. Forms of payment are cash, MasterCard, Visa, pony express and checks. Wireless Internet
HTSC is now equipped with wireless internet all over the building. Students can sit in any part of the Student Center with their laptops and log on to the Internet, provided they have the software necessary. For more information on how to get your wireless Internet software, contact ITS at 214-768-3449.
Vending Machines
There are two areas inside HTSC with vending machines, on the main level outside the restrooms and on the third level in front of the restrooms. Students can use their PONY card and cash for their purchases.
Lockers
Inside the Commuter Lounge there are lockers available for rent. Call 214-768-4444 for more information.
Willy's Hair Salon
Willy's has been a part of HTSC for nearly 30 years. Make an appointment at Willy's for hair cuts, perms and any other hair care service. Willy's is located on the main level near the west entrance. Call 214-368-0921 to make an appointment.
