Audio-Visual Rates
Hughes-Trigg offers quality audio-visual equipment for any type of event. The following are the rates for each piece of equipment available. SMU Departments can also rent equipment for use outside of Hughes-Trigg. Please note that pricing varies for different groups, if you are unclear about which category you are in please call us at 214-768-4444.

Class A Student Sponsored (All functions of chartered student organizations)

Class B-1 University Sponsored or Groups Related to the University

Class B-2 University Sponsored or Groups Related to the University (significant participation in the program is from persons outside the University community or a fee is charged to participants. Significant participation will be defined as greater than 50% of the anticipated participants from outside the university community.)

Class C (Non-University, Co-Sponsored)
All requests for audio visual must be made 48 working hours in advance. If they are made after that allotted time, there will be a late fee of almost triple the amount of your event added to your invoice. Late requests have to be approved by the Audio Visual Technician Manager and the Meeting and Events Coordinator. Not all requests can be filled.
