We are pleased to announce that Mr. Richard Owens has been appointed to be the new Director of the Hughes-Trigg Student Center effective March 13, 2008.
Richard has spent the last 8+ years in facility management at the University of Phoenix. He served as the Campus Director in Louisville, KY, the Director of Operations/Student Services in St. Louis, MO and the Operations Manager in Denver, CO. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Montana State University, a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology from Montana State University and a Master in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Richard brings exceptional management and leadership skills as well as a strong understanding of the student-learning model under which we operate at SMU.
We are very excited to have Richard join our SMU family and the HTSC team!

Please, join us in congratulating David Hayden as the new Assistant Director of Hughes-Trigg. David has served at Hughes-Trigg for 8 years as the Business Operations Manager and in addition to his previous duties, he will now supervise Operations and the Technical Staff of the Student Center.
