Sending Messages

Click New on the toolbar. A New Message window will appear

Type the e-mail addresses of the recipients in the To and/or Cc (Carbon Copy) boxes. Separate multiple names with semicolons (;).

To add blind carbon copy recipients, type their names in the Bcc box.
Bcc recipients receive a copy of the message, but their names do not appear in the list of recipients. Also, each Bcc recipient cannot see the names of other Bcc recipients. -
Check Names
a. If you type names instead of e-mail addresses in the To: field, you will need to verify the names before sending the message
b. Click the Check Names button (fifth icon from the left on the menu bar)
c. If all of the addresses are resolved, click the OK button
d. If the name cannot be resolved, but is one of the suggested matches
1. Choose the correct name
2. Click OK
e. If no matches are suggested, choose Delete this recipient from the list and type in the full e-mail address in the To: field instead of just the name -
In the Subject box, type a brief explanation of your message

Type your message in the message body

Setting message priority (optional): If you do not set the priority of a message, it will have normal importance. If a message needs to have a high or low importance you will have to set the importance level.
a. Click the Red exclamation point on the menu bar to set high priority for the message
b. Click the Blue down arrow on the menu bar to set low priority for the message -
When you are ready to send the message, click the Send button
