How to Change your Display Settings
Windows
***Please note: Some older monitors and video cards do not support the recommended 1024 X 768 setting. If your computer can not support the new resolution, it should return to the original setting within 15 seconds.
Please do not press any keys or click the mouse during this process until the display settings have resolved.
- Right click anywhere on the desktop
- Select Properties
- Select Settings
- Change the Screen Resolution to 1024 X 768 (or desired setting)
- Click OK. The screen should go black momentarily. Do not press any keys during this process!
- If the display setting looks correct at the new resolution, click Yes to keep the new settings.
OS 10.3.X
- Open System Preferences under the Apple menu.
- In the Hardware Support section click on Displays.
- Select the desired resolution
- Close the window
OS 9.2.X
- Open Control panels under the Apple menu
- Select Monitors.
- Select the desired resolution
- Close the window
