Student Accounts
Accounts are created for active SMU students.
This account is used to gain access to Webmail, Access.SMU,
secured WebPages on
smu.edu
intranet, Blackboard,
network connections and other applications. The username is always the eight
digit SMU ID number.
Student accounts remain active for one year following graduation.
Student accounts are created
automatically once they have been accepted into the University by the Admissions
office.
New students should expect to receive account information through US Postal
Mail. The mail will be delivered to the address provided on the Admissions
Application.
