Halley K. Dickey is currently the Sales Manager responsible for all
Geothermal Business Development and Organic Rankine Cycle applications for UTC
Power LLC; and has been involved in the power generation, refrigeration, and
waste-to-energy industries for over thirty years.
Dickey is a graduate of Kansas State University - B.S. Architectural
Engineering, with tenure at Black & Veatch, Western Electric, York Division of
Borg Warner, and United Technologies Corporation, utilizing a broad project
development and financial background, Mr. Dickey pioneered several new
innovative designs and unique technologies in the alternative renewable fuel,
advanced binary cycle, pyrolysis - gasification, biomass, and waste-to-energy
technology sectors.
From the mid 70’s through today, Mr. Dickey has completed the design and
development of numerous power generation, cogeneration, binary cycle, pyrolysis
and gasification projects, including engineering, procurement, contract
services, consulting, management, and financing in building and successfully
delivering projects both domestically and internationally.
Project developments have included: complete “turn-key” power generation
systems, combustion and gasification technologies, waste-to-energy applications,
biomass technologies, waste heat recovery, and power generation, advanced
rankine cycle technologies: steam and organic (on a variety of working fluids),
combustion turbine power augmentation, reciprocating engine technologies:
natural gas and diesel, alternative fuel technologies, emission control and
after-treatment, bio-diesel technologies: application, refinery production and
design, advanced refrigeration: absorption and thermal storage.
