Robert Banack graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business in 1998.

After a brief stint at a large international law firm, Bob spent several years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he worked in the distressed bank loan trading group which invests in and trades the securities of distressed companies.

In 2005 Bob joined Dundee Securities Corporation in institutional sales and trading and currently heads Dundee's Special Situations Private Placements Group which structures and raises financing for micro and small cap private/illiquid issues across various sectors but has a particular focus on financing geothermal power project developers.
