Internship Information

It is the mission of the Dedman College Undergraduate Internship Program to help students begin preparing for employment.

The College designs credit-bearing internship opportunities that demonstrate and reinforce the highly marketable skills that our students acquire.

Internships

An internship course is now available to juniors and seniors beginning with the spring 2001 semester. Students will earn 3 credit hours working a minimum of 10 hours a week at a company or organization. This spectacular opportunity provides students with experience in the environmental area of their choice (e.g., assessment and remediation, conservation, environmental law), and a chance to use classroom knowledge in real situations, all while earning course credit.

ES3322, Internship in Environmental Science.
Students work in a business or organization concerned with environmental issues. Opportunities may be found in environmental law, assessment and remediation companies, or among non-profit or governmental agencies. Prerequisites: Junior or senior standing.

Non-credit paid internships are also available!
