Performing and Visual Arts College Fair

DALLAS (SMU) – College-bound high school students interested in pursuing undergraduate and graduate studies in the areas of music, dance, theatre, visual arts, graphic design, and other related disciplines are encouraged to attend the free Dallas Performing and Visual Arts College Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. in the Owen Arts Center at the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University, 6101 Bishop Blvd. in Dallas (75205).

Sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the  fairs allows students interested in the arts to meet one-on-one with admission representatives from approximately 80 colleges, universities, conservatories, studios, festivals, and other educational institutions nationwide with specialized programs in the visual and performing arts. Attendees learn about educational opportunities, admission and financial aid, portfolio days, audition and entrance requirements, student life, and much more.
