Ms. Linda Raya earned her B.A. in English, speech and drama from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio and her M.A. in Speech and Drama from the University of North Texas.  She is Coordinator of Fine Arts, Instructor in Tag Theater Arts I and III and Chairman of the Talented and Gifted Department at HPHS. She was named Teacher of the Year for HPISD in 1982 and was named one of the 10 Teachers of Excellence by the Texas Exes in 2003. Ms. Raya teaches Theater Arts for TAG.
