Rita Cosgrove has 25 years of experience as an adjunct professor of economics, business law, legal writing and research, oil and gas law, contracts law and property law with several universities and law schools. She brings 13 years of experience as an oil and gas attorney for ARCO Oil and Gas Co., and six years as an international oil and gas consultant for the World Bank Organization.

Russ Mauch

Russ Mauch is a professional writer, educator and consultant. He has taught a variety of collegiate and business writing courses. He also has served as chief academic officer at two colleges. Russ is one of the founding partners of Innovative Resource Systems Company. The company creates specialized business documents that are designed to produce a specific audience response – precisely what is required to score well in the GMAT. In addition to teaching the GMAT verbal section for more than a decade, Russ has taught credit courses in freshman composition and literature, technical writing, business communication and non-credit courses in effective business writing, résumé development and basic auto mechanics. He is a member of the pre-M.B.A. faculty at the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management. He combines adult learning theory, test-taking strategies and motivational techniques to maximize student performance.

Laura Mayberry

Laura Mayberry has more than ten years of experience helping students improve their math skills for standardized testing. She spent a year studying aeronautical engineering and working on a research grant at the University of Washington. She has worked in the test preparation industry for the last seven years, both in the classroom and as a private tutor. She currently teaches high school mathematics and computer science at The Hockaday School, an all girls’ college preparatory school in Dallas.

Laura Mayberry teaches the mathematics portion of the SMU Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) Preparation Course.
