DYSLEXIA TEACHING LEVEL SUMMER PAYMENT DUE DATE: JULY 9
Please note that courses must be taken sequentially, beginning with Course 1.

| An introduction to a variety of concepts, techniques, and activities related to teaching the individual with specific developmental dyslexia and its related disabilities; an overview of the historical development in the field of dyslexia, as well as current research; practice of skills needed to teach students with dyslexia. | ||

| Instruction in levels 2 and 3 of the Dyslexia Teaching Level certificate program. Focus on cognitive and linguistic structures of written language and writing and phonetic concepts related to reading and spelling. | ||

| DTL Curriculum Levels 3 (continued) & 4 | TBA - Spring Term 2009 | |
Instruction in levels 3 and 4 of the Dyslexia Teaching Level Certificate program. Instruction will be given in the refinement of techniques and procedures that have been previously introduced. Systems of record keeping and progress reporting will be discussed.
Registration
Students who are admitted to the Dyslexia Teaching Level Program will receive enrollment confirmation from the Learning Therapy Center office.
