SMU's
Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education and Human Development is committed to providing educationally rich, substantive programs
that serve the needs of both aspiring teachers and professionally active
educators. Programs range from an undergraduate curriculum designed for State
teacher certification to graduate
degree and certification programs to enrichment
opportunities approved by SBEC or other educational agencies. In
addition, a variety of workshops and seminars provide meaningful lessons
that are both useful in instructional delivery and applicable to required
professional-development hours.
