David T. Brunson, CFA, CFP, CDP
Instructor

David Brunson is the president and founder of Lifeway Financial Corporation, a fee-only financial planning and investment management firm, dedicated to helping its clients realize their chosen lifeway.

David received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University. He continued his education at the University of Texas at Arlington where he received a Masters of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance. David also holds a Graduate Studies Certificate in alternative dispute resolution from Southern Methodist University where he currently teaches a graduate course on finance and property in dispute resolution settings.

Solidly grounded in financial planning, investment management, and the fiduciary trust fields for over 16 years, David was a principal with two financial planning and investment management organizations as well as chief investment officer with a regional trust company prior to forming Lifeway Financial Corporation.

David holds the Certified Financial Planner, Certified Financial Analyst and Certified Divorce Planner designations and is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the Financial Planning Association, the Institute for Certified Divorce Planners and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
