Early Registration Discount
SMU CPFP courses offer a discount for registration 14 or more days in advance. Register now, secure your seat, and save!
Pacesetter Path Discount
Complete the program in as little as one academic year by taking two courses a quarter for three terms, and then complete the program with the final course by itself, the Capstone course in your fourth quarter. Save up to $255 per term on the Pacesetter Path registration for two or more courses per quarter is only $995. For more information and to enroll in the Pacesetter Path, please call 214-768-2737.
TSCPA Member Discount
Members of the Texas Society of CPAs are eligible to have the Application Fee waived (a $50 value!) and may enroll at the SMU Staff, Faculty and Alumni rate. To obtain this discount, a one-time setup of your record is required, allowing you to receive your discount automatically whether you are registering by phone or online. FPA Member Discount

Members of the SMU community, including current and retired staff and faculty, current students, and all alumni, are eligible for a discount on SMU Certificate Program in Financial Planning course fees.

SMU does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and 
. CFP certification is granted solely by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to individuals who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met ethics, experience and examination requirements.
