
Dr. Hook is a Licensed Psychologist with 15 years experience in counseling. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Trinity University, Dr. Hook received her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas and her Ph.D. in Counseling at Ball State University. She specializes in couples and family counseling. In addition to having a full time private practice, Dr. Hook was an assistant professor of psychology at Texas Woman's University for five years.
Dr. Hook has been published in many academic journals, and has a chapter in a book about families and addictions. In addition, she has been quoted as the expert in Weight/Watchers.com, Dallas Family, today's Dallas Woman on "The Voice" on AM 700 KSEV in Dallas. She was also featured in an article on Family Time with Tracy Johnson on TXCN News.
