The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations serves as the central clearinghouse
on behalf of the University for all foundation and corporate funding requests. This
point of contact is essential to ensure that the necessary administrative approvals
are obtained, to protect the University’s interests, and to maintain
strategic stewardship for on-going corporate and foundation relationship development.
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations processes proposals for gifts. Government and sponsored research grants are processed through the Office of Research Administration.
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations will, to the extent
possible, and in accordance with the priorities set by the President,
Provost, Deans, and Board of Trustees, assist in locating corporate and
foundation funders.
All contacts with foundations and corporations must be coordinated through the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations.
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations provides three primary services for faculty members, deans, program directors, and administrators:
- Guidance finding, selecting and approaching corporations and foundations for funding.
- Assistance developing proposals and related materials.
- Maintenance of a tracking system to coordinate all requests throughout the University.
