 I live in San Jose, CA, and would like to find out how  I can obtain a copy of a book you recently acquired.
 The book is:

 I would like to get either a photocopy via mail or a digital scan file via email. Can you tell me how I can request this, what the cost would be, and what forms of payment you accept?

 This fellow restores old stoves in San Jose, CA; found our  listing on the internet (he'd been searching high and low for  illustrations of early Spark stoves) and thanks to  Katherine's catalogue record, he's now able to complete his  project. This is the kind of thing that makes my day.

Rob Walker's short film “The Dancing Possum” has been selected to play at the Women in Film “Chickflicks” screening.

The Dancing Possum is a mockumentary that chronicles Patricia Noble’s transformation from corporate CEO to poet. The film was written and edited by Rob Walker and received an honorable mention in the Eight Day video race.

This is a new section in which a CUL staff member will be featured each month.  The purpose is to get to know each other a little better.  Please feel free to send me the profiles of your newest staff members (tvangoet@mail.smu.edu) so that we can introduce them to the rest of CUL. If you have a staff member in your area that you would like to nominate (new or old) please contact me.  (You can even volunteer yourself :) )
