Ask a question or get help

You may ask a question, make a comment, send a suggestion, or arrange an appointment for individual research assistance by calling or visiting the libraries, sending an email, or chatting online. Information about all of these options is available through the Ask A Librarian service.

Library staff may offer some basic assistance to library users of systems administered by other campus units, but detailed questions, comments, or error reports concerning the following systems should be directed to the contacts at the sites linked below.

• Photocopy machines, change machines, and copy card vending machines are administered by Images.
• SMU email accounts, Access.smu, and many other University-wide systems are administered by Information Technology Services (ITS).
• The computer labs in Fondren Library Center are administered by Academic Computing Service (ACS).
• Blackboard and WebCT are administered by the Course Management Systems staff of ACS.
• The accounts associated with your SMU ID card (unless it is a library-specific matter) are administered by the Pony Express office.
