Circulating & Reference Collections
The Hamon Library's circulating and reference collections consist of
materials in many different formats. Generally, they can be found within the library as follows:
Basement Level
Audio and video recordings, microfilm, microfiche.
Ground Floor
Reference books, new books, print periodicals, print reserve items, auction catalogs.
Second Floor
Circulating books and play scripts with call numbers beginning N through Z.
Third Floor
Books and printed music with call numbers beginning A-M, as well as items with Dewey Decimal System call numbers.
Please note that collected works of composers and monuments of music (call numbers beginning M1, M2, M3) are
non-circulating materials.

the online catalog.
- Limited Access items check out for a two-hour period and are restricted to in-house use. To request them, please bring the call number to the Print Circulation Desk on the first floor.
- Print items on hold can be picked up at the Print Circulation Desk.
