Limited Service Hours
 

 When are the hours of limited services?     

Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The Hamon Library is open 93 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.  Librarians and professional library staff provide services for approximately 80 hours per week.  During the remaining hours, services are limited.

Services available during Limited Service Hours
  • Reserve circulation
  • Check-out, renewal, and return of materials
  • Access to Audiovisual Center
  • Access to study areas
  • Access to electronic resources not requiring a password
  • Access to stack areas
  • Access to reference collection
  • Access to bound periodicals and Limited Access materials 
  • Use of microform reader and printer
  • Use of self-service copiers
  • Use of change machine and copy card vending machine
Services not available during Limited Service Hours
  • Clearance of library fines and fees
  • Reference assistance
  • I.D. card activation and account updates
  • Creation and activation of TexShare accounts
  • Mediated database searching
  • Access to databases requiring a password
