Available Equipment

Two (2) public PC's are available in the Government Information Resources Department. These machines are configures to provide Internet access, facilitate PONI look-up, make basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) available, and to allow for the use of CD-ROM and DVD-ROM products within the Department. Computing resources within the Department are provided in accordance with the following FDLP guidelines and recommendations:

Computing resources for individuals with disabilites are available in the Fondren Library Center's Assistive Technology Center.

Photocopiers are available throughout the Fondren Library Center. The photocopiers located nearest to the Government Information Resources Department are in the FLC Information Commons or the Library's master copy room (in the basement level of the Fondren Library Center). Please consult with LIbrary staff regarding the most current photocopying rates. Equipment -- readers as well as printers -- for government publications in both microfiche and microfilm is curently housed along with those publications in the Microforms Area.
