A uniform title is the particular title by which a work is to be identified for cataloging purposes. It is often used for: translations, works published under different titles, journals, anonymous works, sacred works, etc.
When the uniform title is the main entry, it is tagged 130. When a personal, corporate, or conference name is the main entry, the uniform title is tagged 240.

2nd indicator 0 (non-filing character)
Do not include initial articles in any of the subfields in the 240. For a list of initial articles, refer to the List of Initial Articles.
Accept the choice and form of uniform title.
