020  International Standard Book Number

 

 

Compare the ISBN number in the book with the record.  If there are multiple ISBNs in the book representing different types of binding (paperback, bound, etc.) or volume numbers, enter them in separate 020 fields, not in a single 020 field.  Do not enter the hyphens. If the final character is an x, enter an uppercase X.
