“OK to export”
Click on the system tab and check “OK to export”.
Fields to edit on the bibliographic record
020 Add if not present in record but present on book.
090 Search the Voyager call number index to verify the class number and adjust the cutter as needed.
245 Check subfields |a & |b only.
246 Add only if essential.
260 Verify subfields |b & |c match according to “Selecting OCLC Bibliographic Records” instructions.
300 Check for incompleteness, accompanying material and note for oversize books.
4xx Check and verify authority record.
505 For sets only: check/edit.
590 Add as instructed.
6xx Verify that subjects match content.
7xx Add as needed.
8xx See 4xx above.
If there is no 4xx/8xx but you find a series statement in the book (from the series title page, title page, or title page verso), add the series to the bibliographic record and then see 4xx above.
