CIP Mission Statement The Center for Information Processing is a service oriented unit that actively supports the Central University Libraries mission by building collections, organizing information, and providing services to students, faculty, staff and others affiliated with Southern Methodist University. We provide timely, cost-effective acquisitions and processing of library materials, quality cataloging and classification of resources by adhering to current international standards and utilizing innovative technology. We share our expertise to facilitate access to information, provide solutions, and encourage innovation. We encourage open communication and good working relationships in a team environment.
