CUL Student Advisory Council is a student forum that meets regularly during the regular fall and spring semesters with the CUL User Experience Librarian. The Student Advisory Council engages in lively discussions about library services, collections and facilities in an informal, focus group setting. Suggestion box submissions are read and possible remedies and actions are considered.
Snacks are served during meetings.

Membership is open to all undergraduate and graduate students at SMU.

Recent Accomplishments and Activities
- Provided feedback during all phases of the CUL website redesign.
- Suggestions resulted in the revision of the Central University Libraries’ AARO presentation.
- Recommendations impacted the types of services the librarians offer at the Residential Commons.
- Feedback lead to the successful application for the Innovation Grant to fund the purchase of CUL Scholarly Resources and Research Services video equipment.
