- Performing arts: dance, music, theatre.
- Visual arts: art, art history.
Business
- The Full Time MBA Program is an intensive two-year program with classes offered during the days and evenings.
- The Professional MBA Program is a three-year program designed for those who want to enhance their current career progression without leaving the workforce.
- The Executive MBA Program is designed to allow successful practicing managers to enrich and enhance their organizational effectiveness through theoretical founding in core business functions.
- The Division of Executive and Management Development offers non-credit certificate seminars for business executives, managers, and professionals seeking current, practical knowledge and strategies to enhance their careers.
- The (MA/MBA) and (JD/MBA) are offered by the Cox School in conjunction with SMU's Meadows School of the Arts and SMU's School of Law.
- The Caruth Institute of Owner-Managed Business offers education, training and special programs for today's fast paced entrepreneur and aspiring entrepreneur.
School of Education and Human Development
- Teacher Education programs range from an undergraduate curriculum designed for state teacher certification to graduate endorsements, certifications, degrees, and enrichment programs.
- Dispute Resolution teaches formal conflict-management skills in negotiation, mediation, domestic relations, and dispute resolution.
- Evening Bachelor's Degree Program provides motivated adults with a convenient and affordable opportunity to complete their undergraduate education with a focus on the Humanities or Social Sciences in the evening on a part-time basis.
- Exam Preparation offers graduate admissions exam preparation for Graduate Record Exam (GRE), Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), and the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT), as well as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) Exam Preparation.
- Master of Liberal Arts Program allows adults to pursue classical learning in the liberal arts in a uniquely modern format.
- Informal Non-Credit Enrichment Courses include over 300 short courses for adults each fall, winter, and spring in the cultural arts, personal development, creative writing, International languages, academic enrichment, and professional enhancement.
- Non-Degree Credit Studies provides convenient access on a non-degree basis to day and evening credit courses in a variety of academic disciplines and professional areas of study.
- Summer School comprises three primary terms—two five-week terms and a combined ten-week term.
- Youth and Pre-College programs include the TAG Program for gifted middle school students, the College Experience for academically advanced high school students, the Challenges Program for gifted elementary school students, Reading, Writing and Study Skills Enhancement workshops, and Summer Youth programs.
Engineering and Computer Science
- SMU Engineering--Advanced Computer Education Centers offer part-time and full-time classes during days, evenings, and weekends. Topics cover Microsoft Windows NT/2000, Microsoft BackOffice, Cisco, Oracle, A+, Novell NetWare, UNIX, Microsoft Visual Basic, and C/C++ programming. Courses are available for Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
Theology
- Perkins School of Theology offers continuing education programs for laity and church professionals in the practical ministry, theology, Christian education, church music, and youth and children's ministry.
