About The Institute

This year, the U.S. will graduate 300,000 engineers. India and China will graduate 3 million. By enhancing and supporting the curriculum and learning opportunities of middle and high school students, future college graduates will be better prepared and competitive on a global scale. With proven initiatives like the Infinity Project, Visioneering, the Gender Parity Initiative, WISE and SMU Engineering Summer Camps for Girls and Seniors, SMU is taking the lead in developing innovative science, technology, engineering and math educational programs.

Our success requires a continuing partnership with organizations like Communities Foundation of Texas, and the support of our alumni and friends. Join us to improve math and science educational opportunities and related programs for the future students and leaders of Texas and the nation.
