The SMU Career Center processes internships for  Undergraduate students and for Graduate students in the Dedman College, Meadows School for the Arts and the School of Engineering. The Career Center DOES NOT award academic credit.  If an internship is advertised as "for credit", you are responsible for consulting with your academic department to determine if you can receive credit for an internship

Edwin L. Cox School of Business 
Overview of Cox School of Business Undergraduate (BBA) Program 

Please note that as of Fall 2001, the Cox School of Business Undergraduate Program only awards academic credit for MSA (Masters in Accounting) internships that students complete during the Spring Semester of their Senior year. The internship must be approved by the Accounting department.
